I'm an Australian musician who uploads songs to YouTube since 2015.
Under Netcavy Records, I produce my own CDs and sell them at cons.

People know me for working on the Hypixel SkyBlock soundtrack,
Undertale and Deltarune remixes, and Touhou Eurobeat arrangements.

Australian musician, animator, VFX, programmer.

My Activities

I have a Game Design and Animation double degree.
I work freelance in my music skills for clients all around the world.
I also help develop the rhythm game Spin Rhythm XD.

Here's a list of things I like to do:
* Compose original music and note block songs in Minecraft.
* Make MIDI arrangements of songs I enjoy.
* Develop computer software and video games.
* Draw character art and design graphics.

I have two YouTube channels - ShinkoNet, and Netcavy.
The former is where I upload originals and note block songs.
The latter is for song remixes and MIDI covers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use your songs in my work?
  • All my original music requires my explicit permission for commercial use.
  • Any MIDI covers or remixes that I have uploaded on YouTube can be used at your own risk, however my channel or website must be credited.
  • For Hypixel Skyblock music, you are allowed to use it as background tracks in YouTube videos. For any further use, contact Hypixel Inc.
Do you accept requests or commissions?
  • I do paid music requests/commissions on my requests page.
  • The status of whether or not I am accepting commissions can be found there.
  • My business email is [email protected], commercial inquiries only.
What MIDI/Note Block visualizers do you use?
  • My modern videos use MIDIFall to visualise MIDI files.
  • Older videos (2017 and earlier) used MIDITrail yossiepon mod.
  • A lot of my CD promotional videos are created in After Effects.
  • Regarding my current note block songs, they are mostly made using Open Note Block Studio, either as a screen recording of the program or as a datapack export.
  • If you were looking at a note block video I made in 2018 or earlier, the visualiser was made using NBS2CBS.
  • However, Not all of my note block songs are made with Note Block Studio! I've created songs by-hand inside a Minecraft world with just creative mode and WorldEdit.
What is your music workflow?
  • I use FL Studio.
  • When I sequence MIDI files, I have the entire MIDI in a single pattern, usually. I then have the original song as an audio object lined up with the MIDI pattern to sync over the song when I press Play.
  • I stream myself creating my MIDIs on YouTube. On my channel, there is a playlist for all my music creation livestreams.
  • A few plugins I often use include:
    • Kontakt (and libraries such as The Grandeur, Electri6ity, and my own samples)
    • Korg M1
    • Steinberg plugins (Retrologue, Groove Agent 5, The Grand 3, Virtual Guitarist, LM4-MK11)
    • Roland/Edirol plugins (Super Quartet, Zenology)
    • VST synths such as Spire, Serum, Vital
    • Hardware sound modules - Edirol SD-90 and Roland JD-08.
